Gold & Richie is a Canadian house making fine jewellery set with lab-grown diamonds, made to order. Rings, earrings, necklaces and bracelets, in fifteen diamond shapes, in gold and platinum.
What we make
Rings, earrings, necklaces and bracelets, set with lab-grown diamonds. Engagement and wedding pieces make up most of what we make, but the same stones go into everyday studs and tennis bracelets.
Most designs come in yellow, white or rose gold, many in 14K or 18K, and over a hundred in platinum. What you see on a product page is what we can actually make.

Grown, not mined
A lab-grown diamond is chemically and optically identical to a mined one, with the same hardness and the same brilliance. What changes is where it came from, and what that lets you afford: for the same money, a larger stone at a better grade.
It also means we can offer shapes that are hard to source well in mined stones, which is why the catalogue runs to fifteen of them rather than the usual handful.
Made after you order
Nothing sits in a drawer waiting to be bought. When an order comes in, the stone is set and the piece is finished for you, which usually takes about ten days before it ships.
That is slower than pulling something off a shelf. It is also why the metal, the carat weight and the shape are yours to choose rather than ours to guess.
Our story
Gold & Richie is new. There is no long history to tell, so the honest thing to offer instead is what we decided before we sold anything.
Buying a diamond is strangely opaque for a purchase this size. Prices move without explanation, grading gets buried in the small print, and it is often unclear whether the piece in a photograph exists yet or is a render of something a workshop could make if asked. We found that irritating enough to build against.
The clearest case is the price. What you see on a product page is the whole of it, with shipping, insurance and any import charges already inside that number. Nothing is added at checkout and no invoice follows you home. An all-inclusive price looks higher on a listing than one with the delivery stripped out, and we would still rather show it that way round.
Grading works the same way. Where a stone is certified, the report is named on its product page instead of gestured at, because a grade you cannot check is not worth quoting.
We would rather be judged on the piece that arrives than on this page. If it is not right, tell us within thirty days and we will put it right at our cost.
