These terms apply to your use of this website and to any order you place with Gold & Richie. By using the site or placing an order, you accept them.
Who we are
Gold & Richie is a Canadian jewellery house selling pieces set with lab-grown diamonds. Our registered address is 1516 Davie St, Vancouver, British Columbia V6G 1V6, Canada.
Using this site
You must be old enough to enter a binding contract where you live in order to place an order. You agree not to use this site unlawfully, to interfere with its operation, to scrape or copy its contents at scale, or to attempt access to areas you are not authorised to reach.
Products and descriptions
We describe each piece as accurately as we can, including metal, carat weight, stone shape, and grading where it applies. Product images are a mix of studio photography and renders made from the design. Because every piece is made after you order it, an image shows the design rather than the individual piece you will receive. Screens differ too, and pieces are finished by hand, so small differences between the image and the piece are normal.
Every diamond we sell is lab-grown and described as such. Where a piece carries independent certification, that is stated on its product page.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in US dollars in the United States and in Canadian dollars everywhere else. Whichever you see includes shipping, insurance and any applicable import charges, so there is nothing further to pay when your order arrives. Taxes are calculated at checkout where they apply.
Payment is taken when you place your order, because production begins from that point. Prices may change at any time, but a change never affects an order already placed.
Orders
Your order is an offer to buy, which we accept when we confirm it. We may decline or cancel an order where a piece is unavailable, where there has been a pricing or description error, or where we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we refund it in full.
Because pieces are made to order, there is a point after which an order cannot be changed or cancelled. See our cancellation policy.
Returns
Returns, exchanges and corrections are governed by our refund policy and by our exchange and product correction policies, which form part of these terms.
Intellectual property
Everything on this site, including text, photographs, video, designs, the Gold & Richie name, logo and stag mark, belongs to us or to our licensors and is protected by copyright and trade mark law. You may view and share it for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, republish, sell, or use it commercially, or present our designs or imagery as your own, without our written permission.
Limitation of liability
We are responsible for supplying the piece you ordered, as described. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, and our total liability for any order is limited to what you paid for it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or under consumer protection law.
Events outside our control
We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including carrier delays, customs holds, natural events, industrial action, or disruption to supply.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes are subject to the courts of British Columbia, without prejudice to any mandatory rights you have where you live.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version published here when you place an order is the version that governs that order.
